"... in her Bluey pajamas..."

“I tried to stop.”

Those were reportedly Joan Sebastion Guerrero’s last words as he lay bleeding out on a suburban Maine street while his three-year-old daughter — still in her Bluey pajamas — watched. [1]

Last week in Houston, ICE murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a construction worker and 35-year resident of the United States, while he was driving his work crew to a job site. His family said “he was very close to obtaining legal status in the U.S. after living in the country for 35 years.” [2]

In both cases ICE has admitted these men were not their “targets”... both were cases of mistaken identities… Neither man had a criminal record… both are dead.

Both men played by the rules, obtained proper work documents, paid their taxes, employed others legally, and dreamed big dreams for their families. Yet, both men are dead.

Joan and Lorenzo were murdered by an unaccountable, untrained, and unprofessional paramilitary police force funded by billions authorized by our opponent John Rutherford.

Now this violence has come to our community. While the news is still developing, a third man is dead after an encounter with ICE agents in St. Augustine. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, “ICE agents responded to a Wawa on State Road 16 early Tuesday morning, where the agency says that four occupants of a vehicle ran from the area upon encountering ICE and Homeland Security Investigators. While running away, the 28-year-old man crossed SR-16 and was hit by a semi-truck. First responders pronounced him dead on the scene.” [3]

John Rutherford supports war.

He supports war here at home against hard-working family men like Joan and Lorenzo… and he supports never-ending wars abroad.

He votes for war… He celebrates war… And he profits off war.

The House has held four War Power Resolution votes to end Trump’s stupid war against Iran. Four times Rutherford has voted for more war. [4]

He has giddily proclaimed Trump’s war with Iran to have been “perfectly executed.”

And while Florida families pay more for gas and groceries, Rutherford enriches himself off lucrative stock trades made via insider information, including some of the largest corporate war-profiteers like Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and BAE Systems. [5] [6]

To further satiate his desire for violence, Rutherford is the architect of over $100 billion funneled to ICE to hire more untrained, unqualified masked agents, purchase massive warehouses to imprison humans, and wage war on American streets. [7]

Rutherford brags about what an “amazing accomplishment” ICE has become. And, yes, this war enriches him too: One of his top corporate campaign donors is the for-profit prison racket, The GEO Group. [8] [9]

Despite the rising costs, corruption in broad daylight, and exhaustingly constant chaos of the Trump Administration, Rutherford largely stays silent. No town halls, rarely available to the public or press. He votes for war, profits from war, delights in war, and hides.

Unless, of course, you leave his name off a political flyer.

That’s right, the reclusive insider-stock-trader John Rutherford emerged yesterday to proactively call into News 4 Jax to whine about his name being left off a GOP flyer. The poor snowflake bemoaned he “was endorsed by Donald J. Trump, the president!” while crying about being snubbed! [10]

So while Florida families struggle to afford basic essentials like gas and groceries because of Rutherford’s stupid wars, his only top concern this week has been a flyer.

Folks, we can end this. Let’s send a message to war-profiteers like Epstein class inductee John Rutherford by defeating him.

To do that, we could use your help. Your $5, $10, $25 donation can help us defeat the likes of Rutherford!

Let’s stand with Florida families and stop Rutherford’s never-ending wars.
